Unlike the San Francisco Fog rugby team, the Washington Renegades practice even when it's raining.

Rain

Please note, although I am completed drenched in the above photo, I am not muddy at all. This is because the Renegades practice on artificial turf at a nearby high school football field. The Fog, on the other hand, play on real grass on Treasure Island. So, they can't practice when it's rainy, because it would tear up the field. The Renegades can practice until there's lightning, like tonight. Still, though, it's a shame. I guess I'll have to find a muddy field (and a friend) and do some "fumble drills" sometime soon!
